Dr. Ismail is a board-certified periodontist specializing in periodontal and implant dentistry. Born in Geneva, Switzerland, he earned his dental degree from MSA University in Cairo in 2009, completed a Restorative Preceptorship at UCLA in 2011, and finished a fellowship and three-year residency in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry at the University of Kentucky, where he also earned his Master of Science in 2023.
He has received multiple honors, including the Billy Pennel Award from the Southern Academy of Periodontology, and has published research in respected dental journals. As a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and member of the American Academy of Periodontology, he stays at the forefront of his field.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Ismail enjoys time with his wife and children, Layal, Kenz, and Youssef.
